Tahoe-Sierra IRWM (implementation stage)

Tahoe-Sierra IRWM
Through the Tahoe Sierra Group partnership, this Tahoe-Sierra Integrated Regional Water Management Plan (Tahoe-Sierra Plan) was developed.  Adopted by the majority of partners before June 2006 through a Memorandum of Understanding (Appendix B), the Tahoe-Sierra Plan integrates a set of coordinated strategies for the management of water resources and for the implementation of projects that protect our Tahoe Sierra communities from drought, protect and improve water quality and improve local water security.

January 1st, 2016:  The Sierra Water Workgroup announces the formal launching of the Tahoe-Sierra IRWM Data Management Application. This Application has been in development for several months and is a web tool designed for IRWM stakeholder regional and interregional project management, resource streamlining, and an improved collaborative ability. The Application allows Tahoe-Sierra stakeholders to print out many different official maps, charts, and data tables, as well as submit new IRWM projects. This Application is a hub for all stakeholder IRWM needs and is the result of many good ideas coming together, with the support of the Sierra Nevada Alliance and the Sierra Fund. Please explore the Tahoe-Sierra IRWM Data Management Application by clicking here or the image below.
