Sierra Water Workgroup Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
We are in the process of signing this with each of the 12 IRWM regions in the Sierra. the purpose is to assign a representative and alternate from each IRWM region to the SWWG; and to allow us to conduct state-level education (agencies and decision makers) on Sierra water issues.

DWR Region Office IRWM Contacts and DWR Contacts for IRWM Regions Regional Collaboration emails and Regional Outreach Liferay portal The Regionl Outreach Liferay site serves as a collaboration site for Regional Forum participants to access regional Integrated Water Management information. The site contains a map of the hydrologic regions and overlay areas and links for accessing each hydrologic region and overlay area. DWR requests that official/formal comments from the regions/overlays be sent to the respective Regional Forum emails. DWR’s California Water Plan The California Water Plan provides a collaborative planning framework for elected officials, agencies, tribes, water and resource managers, businesses, academia, stakeholders, and the public to develop finding and recommendations and make informed decision for California’s water future. The Plan, updated every 5 years, presents the status of trends of California’s water-dependent natural resources; water supplies; and agricultural, urban, and environmental water demands for a range of plausible future scenarios.
