Theme:  IRWMP Coordination across the Sierra Region

Audience:  IRWMP’s
When:  May /June 2012,
Duration: 1 and ½ days
Location: The Ridge Country Club in Auburn; Resort at Squaw Creek; or Sacramento

1st Day

Keynote Speaker - ?

Workshops:
          ·      DAC Issues/DWR technical assistance
          ·      Inyo-Mono Presentation on assisting DAC’s
          ·      Climate change;
                       o   Latest information regarding the Sierra
                       o   IRWMP projects
                       o   Model developments
          ·      Water & Land nexus (projects?)

2nd Day
          ·      GIS Map;
                      o   Identifying select IRWMP projects across the Sierra Region
                      o   Speakers from each IRWMP highlighting successful projects.
                      o   Discussion of resource areas of concern.
          ·      Lessons Learned

Outcomes:  1) Show success of IRWM’s; 2) Coordinate efforts of IRWM’s across the region; 3) Assist in addressing specific issues such as DAC funding.
